That idea stuck with us.
 

Because the truth is—most people don’t need a loan because they’ve made bad decisions. They need help because life happens. A car breaks down. Rent is due. An unexpected bill shows up at the worst possible time.
 

And when we looked at what was out there, we didn’t like what we saw.
